The SFU band has been competing at the World Championships for over 35 years. There have been many high points, such as 6 wins and 9 times finishing second. There have been a few rebuilding stretches when the focus was on developing our newer, younger players. The band plays our pipe bags – mostly sheepskins but a few goatskins as well (Andrew and Jack play goatskins). The band, under P/M Alan Bevan, was very pleased to finish 5th at the 2018 World Championships.
